As a Federal Sales Agent, you will specialize in navigating the complexities of government contract vehicles and utilizing SAM.gov to research and identify procurement opportunities. Your responsibilities include preparing accurate pricing and quotes while adhering to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) standards. Collaborating with internal teams to gather insights and refine strategies will be essential in enhancing our win rate on federal contracts. Success in this role demands strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain compliance with all relevant regulations, while supporting the team environment within the company.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough research using SAM.gov and advanced search filters to identify federal government contracting opportunities.
- Develop accurate and competitive pricing and quotes tailored to government solicitation requirements.
- Ensure all proposals and contracts comply with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and organizational policies.
- Navigate and manage government contract vehicles to optimize procurement efforts.
- Collaborate effectively with internal teams to gather information, align strategies, and support proposal development.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of federal procurement procedures and amend sales strategies accordingly.
- Prepare documentation and presentations for contract proposals and negotiations.
- Monitor procurement trends and provide feedback to support continuous improvement in federal sales processes.
- Work strictly within the compliance framework to maintain integrity in all federal sales activities.
- Contribute to a supportive team environment by sharing insights and assisting with team objectives without managing personnel.
