Bid Nation is seeking a skilled Software Engineer with at least five years of experience in software development to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong programming abilities and effective English communication skills. This role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining software applications that meet business needs and improve user experience. The candidate will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, delivering high-quality solutions in a timely manner. Although this position does not involve team management, the engineer will contribute significantly to project success through individual expertise and teamwork.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement software solutions by writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code.

Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, deployment, and support.

Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to understand project requirements and deliver functional software features.

Identify and resolve software defects and performance issues to ensure high-quality software delivery.

Maintain and improve existing software applications by refactoring code and integrating new technologies where appropriate.

Conduct code reviews to uphold coding standards and share knowledge with team members.

Stay informed about emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve skills and apply best practices.

Document software design, development processes, and code changes effectively for future reference.

Assist in troubleshooting and debugging complex issues, ensuring minimal downtime and service disruption.

Develop and execute unit and integration tests to ensure software reliability and robustness.
