Billing Mate seeks dedicated Medical Billing Executives to handle insurance claims processing and ensure accurate data entry within a healthcare billing environment. This role involves processing medical bills, verifying information for accuracy, and interacting with insurance providers to facilitate smooth claim approvals. Candidates should possess a strong command of English communication to effectively interact with clients and insurance personnel. Proficiency in MS Excel is crucial for managing and analyzing billing data efficiently. Ideal candidates are self-motivated, assertive, and responsive, demonstrating the ability to work independently while maintaining high standards of accuracy and timeliness. This position is ideal for graduates, including those with qualifications in Pharmacy (B Pharmacy or D Pharmacy), who are eager to start their career in the medical billing domain. As freshers are welcome, prior work experience is not mandatory. Medical Billing Executives will contribute to the accurate and timely processing of billing claims, supporting the financial operations of healthcare providers. Although this role does not involve team management, candidates must demonstrate strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple billing tasks concurrently, ensuring optimal workflow efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Process medical insurance claims accurately and efficiently using designated billing software and tools.
- Verify patient and insurance information to ensure the completeness and correctness of billing data.
- Enter billing data with precision, maintaining a high level of accuracy to prevent claim rejections or delays.
- Communicate effectively with insurance companies to follow up on claim statuses and resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain updated records of all billing activities and provide regular updates to management as required.
- Utilize MS Excel to organize, filter, and analyze billing data for reporting and audit purposes.
- Respond proactively to billing inquiries and resolve client or insurer issues promptly and courteously.
- Adhere to healthcare regulations, insurance policies, and company standards to ensure compliance.
- Demonstrate self-motivation by managing work priorities and meeting deadlines without direct supervision.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at streamlining billing processes and enhancing accuracy.
