STORE Keeper

Description

In this role, the Store Keeper is responsible for recording and tracking inventory data accurately within warehouse management systems and other inventory platforms. The position requires coordinating with suppliers and internal departments to ensure timely stocking and distribution of goods. Proactive monitoring of stock levels and efficient execution of stock control procedures are essential to avoid discrepancies or stockouts. The candidate must be familiar with electrical and cable products to understand inventory characteristics and handle items appropriately. Adherence to safety and quality standards is mandatory to support the company’s operational excellence and customer satisfaction goals.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions and update warehouse management systems consistently.
• Receive and inspect incoming goods, checking for quality and quantity against purchase orders and delivery notes.
• Organize and store inventory in designated locations to ensure easy identification and retrieval.
• Conduct regular stock-taking activities to verify physical inventory against records and address discrepancies immediately.
• Use ERP systems and other inventory software to monitor stock levels and generate necessary reports for management review.
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to schedule and manage deliveries and dispatches efficiently.
• Implement and enforce stock control procedures to minimize losses, damages, or theft.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards in handling and storing inventory items.
• Support inventory audits and provide documentation and data as required for internal and external reviews.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment following company policies and industry regulations.
• Assist in the planning and forecasting of inventory requirements based on historical data and anticipated demand.
