QC LAB Analyst

Description

Black Rose Hair Cosmetics is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented QC LAB Analyst to join their quality control team. The analyst will focus on conducting precise testing of raw materials and finished cosmetic products to ensure compliance with company quality standards and regulatory requirements. This position requires a strong understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and expertise in a variety of laboratory techniques including analytical method testing and wet chemistry. The ideal candidate has at least three years of relevant experience in cosmetics manufacturing and a commitment to maintaining excellent laboratory records and calibration of instruments. The QC LAB Analyst plays a crucial role in verifying product quality and safety by performing essential tests such as pH, viscosity, stability, and other critical analyses. This role demands meticulous attention to detail and the ability to document results accurately. Although no team management responsibilities are included, the position requires collaboration with other departments to support product development and quality assurance initiatives within the company.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and non-routine quality control tests on raw materials and finished cosmetic products to ensure they meet company standards.
• Conduct laboratory analyses including pH measurement, viscosity determination, stability testing, and other relevant analytical methods.
• Maintain detailed, accurate, and organized quality control records and laboratory documentation in compliance with regulatory and company policies.
• Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments to ensure reliable and consistent testing results.
• Ensure adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and standard operating procedures (SOPs) during all laboratory activities.
• Collaborate with production and development teams to provide quality data, support troubleshooting, and assist in product quality improvements.
• Identify and report deviations, non-conformances, and any potential quality issues, while recommending corrective actions.
• Support external audits and inspections by maintaining thorough documentation and demonstrating laboratory compliance.
• Conduct periodic review and validation of analytical methods in coordination with the quality assurance department.
• Stay current with industry advancements and regulatory requirements relevant to cosmetic product quality control.
