Stitching Machine Operator

Description

BM Home Textile is seeking a skilled Stitching Machine Operator with at least five to eight years of hands-on experience in operating and maintaining stitching machines. The ideal candidate possesses strong technical knowledge of industrial sewing machines and mechanical maintenance, ensuring consistent and high-quality production output. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to troubleshoot machinery, and the discipline to perform routine machine maintenance to prevent downtime and maintain operational efficiency. The Stitching Machine Operator works directly with production teams to meet workflow schedules and quality standards. The operator is responsible for ensuring machines operate smoothly by performing routine checks and timely maintenance. This role is crucial in supporting BM Collection’s commitment to delivering superior stitching quality while optimizing machine uptime. Although this position does not involve team management, collaboration and effective communication with other production staff are essential to meet daily demands and address machine-related issues promptly.

Responsibilities

• Operate industrial stitching machines efficiently to produce high-quality stitched products according to company specifications.
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on stitching machines to minimize breakdowns and extend equipment life.
• Identify and troubleshoot mechanical issues with stitching machines to ensure continuous operation and reduce production delays.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure safety and operational efficiency.
• Inspect finished products for stitching accuracy and report any defects or inconsistencies promptly.
• Collaborate with production supervisors and technicians to coordinate machine maintenance and repair schedules.
• Document machine performance and maintenance activities accurately to support operational tracking and improvements.
• Ensure compliance with company safety standards and operational procedures during machine operation and maintenance.
• Assist in training junior operators on machine operation best practices and maintenance procedures when required.
• Adjust machine settings as necessary to accommodate different fabric types and product specifications.
