The ideal candidate will be responsible for collecting, processing, and performing statistical analyses on large datasets to help drive informed business decisions. The Data Analyst does not manage a team but collaborates closely with various departments to translate complex data into clear and actionable reports. By leveraging expertise in data visualization and database querying, the analyst plays a vital role in enhancing operational efficiency and supporting Brightway Consulting's commitment to delivering data-driven solutions to its clients.
Responsibilities
- Gather and clean data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and reliability for analysis.
- Conduct thorough exploratory data analysis to identify trends, correlations, and anomalies.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and visual reports to effectively communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Use statistical techniques to interpret data sets, paying close attention to patterns and trends that could influence business decisions.
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to understand data needs and provide tailored analytical solutions.
- Create predictive models and forecasting tools to support business planning and performance evaluation.
- Generate comprehensive reports summarizing key insights and providing recommendations for improvement.
- Ensure data integrity and security throughout the analysis process by following best practices and compliance standards.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging data technologies to enhance analytical capabilities.
- Support ad hoc data requests and perform additional analyses as needed to address business challenges.
