The Chief Security Officer (CSO) at Bsk is responsible for planning, developing, and implementing policies and procedures to ensure the security and continuity of business operations. This role focuses on minimizing risks related to security threats, business disruptions, and disaster recovery, ensuring the company can maintain operations through any unforeseen events. The CSO works closely with different departments to identify vulnerabilities, design security measures, and create response strategies that protect the organization's assets and reputation. The position requires a proactive approach to business continuity and disaster recovery, involving regular risk assessments, creation of contingency plans, and staff training to improve readiness for emergencies. The CSO must maintain up-to-date knowledge of best practices and industry standards, applying communication and organizational skills to coordinate security efforts. Although this role does not involve direct team management, it requires effective collaboration with others across the company to uphold security goals and comply with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement business continuity and disaster recovery plans to minimize operational downtime during incidents.
• Conduct risk assessments and analyze potential security threats to establish effective prevention and mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure comprehensive understanding and adherence to security protocols and policies.
• Monitor and review security systems, processes, and incident reports to identify weaknesses and improve safeguards.
• Coordinate training programs and drills to prepare staff for emergency response and recovery procedures.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to security and business continuity.
• Prepare documentation and reports on security assessments, incident response, and recovery activities for senior management.
• Support internal and external audits related to security and disaster recovery compliance.
• Communicate clearly and effectively with stakeholders regarding security risks and the status of continuity initiatives.
• Assist in the continuous improvement of security policies to adapt to evolving threats and business needs.
