Buzz Cut Studio seeks a skilled and professional Barber to provide high-quality grooming and hairstyling services to our valued clients. The ideal candidate brings at least five years of experience in barbering and hair styling, demonstrating expertise in both modern and classic haircutting techniques. They must be adept at handling various tools including scissors and clippers, using methods such as clipper cutting, scissor over comb, and razor cutting to create precise styles that meet client expectations. This role requires a strong commitment to sanitation, hygiene, and maintaining an organized workspace to ensure client safety and satisfaction. The Barber serves as a key member of the salon team by delivering exceptional customer service through thoughtful consultations to understand individual client preferences. The candidate must be knowledgeable about current grooming trends and products, and able to perform additional grooming services like beard styling, facial grooming, and head massages. Although this position does not involve managing a team, the Barber must demonstrate professionalism, punctuality, and excellent interpersonal skills to contribute positively to the salon environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of haircutting and styling techniques including classic and contemporary styles using scissors, clippers, and razors.
• Provide facial grooming services such as beard trimming, shaping, and shaving, along with soothing head massages.
• Consult clients to discuss their desired styles and offer professional advice to help achieve tailored looks.
• Maintain a clean, sanitized, and organized workstation, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly sterilized and safe to use.
• Stay updated on current hair trends, grooming products, and techniques to deliver innovative styles that satisfy client preferences.
• Ensure client comfort and safety throughout the grooming process by adhering to sanitation regulations and hygiene protocols.
• Handle client appointments professionally, maintaining punctuality, reliability, and a positive attitude to foster client trust and loyalty.
• Manage product inventory and advise clients on appropriate grooming products to support their hair care routine.
• Support team efforts and contribute to creating a welcoming and professional salon atmosphere.
