Cadbury Dairy Milk is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cashier with at least 2 years of experience to join our team. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for managing cash transactions efficiently and accurately, ensuring a smooth checkout experience for customers. You will operate cashier systems and cash registers, handle customer payments, and resolve any transaction-related issues promptly. This role involves supervising and coordinating a small team of 2 persons to maintain high standards of service and operational efficiency in the checkout area. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, experience in cash handling, and the ability to work collaboratively with others. You will play a key role in delivering excellent customer service while maintaining accuracy in financial transactions. This position requires attentiveness, reliability, and the capacity to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced retail environment, ensuring that all monetary exchanges are conducted securely and professionally.

Responsibilities

• Operate cash registers and cashier systems accurately to process customer payments.
• Handle all cash transactions with attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in counting and recording.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving payment issues promptly.
• Supervise and coordinate a team of 2 cashiers, ensuring smooth operation and adherence to company policies.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the checkout area to uphold a professional environment.
• Balance cash drawers at the beginning and end of shifts to ensure all transactions are accounted for.
• Report discrepancies or suspicious activities immediately to the management.
• Assist in training new cashiers to familiarize them with company protocols and cashier systems.
• Follow all company procedures and guidelines regarding cash handling and safety.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure an efficient flow of customers and timely resolution of issues.
