Responsibilities

• Handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring all payments, refunds, and exchanges are processed correctly.
• Count and reconcile cash drawers at the beginning and end of shifts to maintain accurate cash records.
• Verify cash and other payment methods against transaction records to prevent discrepancies and errors.
• Maintain the security of cash and sensitive financial information according to company procedures.
• Respond promptly to customer inquiries and resolve issues related to payment processing and cash handling.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements regarding cash management and reporting.
• Assist in preparing daily financial reports summarizing cash transactions and variances for management review.
• Support store operations by collaborating with different departments to ensure efficient cash flow and inventory control.
• Identify and report potential risks or irregularities in cash handling processes and suggest improvements.
• Participate in internal audits and assist with external audits related to financial transactions and cash management.
