Description
At CEOs World, we are seeking a dedicated Software Quality Assurance (SQA) professional with at least three years of experience to ensure the highest quality standards of our software products. The ideal candidate is responsible for developing test plans, identifying bugs, and verifying that software meets all specifications and requirements. This role does not involve team management but requires close collaboration with development teams to maintain smooth quality control processes. The SQA professional plays a vital role in the product lifecycle by performing thorough testing activities, documenting results, and contributing to continuous improvement efforts. An analytical mindset and attention to detail are essential as is the ability to communicate clearly and work systematically to prevent defects and enhance product reliability.
Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive test plans based on product specifications and requirements.
- Design, create, and execute test cases to validate software functionality and performance.
- Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking tools to resolution.
- Collaborate with software developers and product teams to understand features and provide feedback on quality issues.
- Perform regression testing to ensure that new code changes do not adversely affect existing functionalities.
- Maintain detailed documentation related to testing processes, outcomes, and best practices.
- Participate in root cause analysis of defects and contribute suggestions for process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with company quality standards and industry best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Assist in automating repetitive testing tasks when appropriate to improve efficiency.
- Report regularly on testing progress, quality metrics, and identified risks to stakeholders.
