Chaplet International (Pvt) Limited seeks a highly skilled and experienced Expert CNC Operator & Programmer to manage CNC milling operations at its Lahore facility. The ideal candidate has at least seven years of experience and demonstrated expertise in programming, setting up, and operating CNC machining centers to produce precision metal components. This role demands mastery of CAD/CAM software, G-code programming, and a solid understanding of manufacturing engineering drawings and quality standards. The operator will lead a small team of three and provide technical guidance to ensure efficient and accurate machining processes. The position focuses on optimizing machining operations through effective tool selection, machine setup, and program modifications. The candidate will ensure maintenance of machinery and compliance with workplace safety standards. In addition, this role involves regular inspection of finished components using precision measurement instruments and maintaining detailed production and quality assurance records. Responsibilities

- Program CNC machining centers using various CAD/CAM software tools such as Power Shape, Power Mill, Mastercam, and Siemens NX CAM to develop precise machining codes.
- Set up CNC milling machines, select appropriate cutting tools, and adjust machine parameters including feed rates and cutting speeds to optimize machining efficiency and accuracy.
- Operate 3-axis and 4-axis CNC milling machines independently to produce high-quality metal components in accordance with detailed engineering drawings and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) standards.
- Read, interpret, and analyze engineering drawings to confirm machining feasibility and ensure final parts meet specified tolerances and quality requirements.
- Inspect finished parts using precision measurement tools including vernier calipers, micrometers, and height gauges to validate adherence to dimensional standards.
- Modify existing CNC programs to improve cycle times, reduce tool wear, and enhance machining accuracy while maintaining safety and quality compliance.
- Lead and provide technical guidance to a team of three CNC operators, coordinating workflow and troubleshooting operational challenges to maximize productivity.
- Conduct preventive maintenance and routine cleaning of CNC machines to ensure equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
- Maintain comprehensive production documentation and quality assurance records to support traceability and continuous improvement efforts.
- Comply with all safety protocols and standard operating procedures to maintain a safe working environment within the production department.
