Chaplet International (Pvt) Limited is seeking a detail-oriented Junior CNC Operator & Programmer to join our Production Department in Lahore. This full-time permanent role focuses on operating and programming CNC milling machines to manufacture high-precision metal components in compliance with engineering drawings and technical specifications. The ideal candidate brings at least one year of practical experience in CNC programming and operation, coupled with a willingness to learn and adapt within a dynamic manufacturing environment. While this role does not involve team management responsibilities, it plays a crucial part in the efficient production workflow and quality control processes. The Junior CNC Operator & Programmer will perform setup, tool selection, and machine operation tasks while ensuring safety protocols and machine maintenance standards are rigorously followed. This position requires familiarity with precision measurement techniques and strong adherence to quality control. Candidates with a Diploma of Associate Engineering in Mechanical or related technical qualifications and basic knowledge of CNC milling operations are highly preferred. Immediate availability to join and a commitment to meet production targets are essential for this role, based at our facility located 28 kilometers from Ferozepur Road, Lahore.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machining centers efficiently and safely, adhering to all safety and operational protocols.
• Assist in CNC programming and support the setup of machines, including tool selection and calibration.
• Read, interpret, and apply engineering drawings and technical specifications to ensure machining accuracy.
• Monitor machining processes closely to maintain product quality and precision standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and order of the work area and machines to ensure safe operation and optimal functioning.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance and calibration of CNC machines to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with the production team to meet daily manufacturing targets and deadlines effectively.
• Utilize CAD/CAM software such as Mastercam for programming and optimizing toolpaths.
• Apply knowledge of tool and work offsets, fixture design, and machine tool probing to enhance machining operations.
• Conduct quality control inspections using precision measurement tools to verify component dimensions and tolerances.
• Report any machine malfunctions or deviations in product quality to supervisors for timely resolution.
• Continuously update skills and knowledge of CNC machining technologies and best practices.
