PRODUCTION COORDINATOR (WORK IN PROCESS)

Description

Chaplet International (Pvt) Limited seeks a diligent and detail-oriented Production Coordinator specializing in Work In Process (WIP) to join our production team in Lahore. The ideal candidate is responsible for coordinating and monitoring the movement of raw materials, semi-finished goods, and WIP within the production hall to ensure smooth workflow across sections. This role requires close communication with section supervisors to track job progress, maintain accurate records, and identify any delays or bottlenecks to support timely production delivery. The Production Coordinator ensures material availability aligns with the production plan and plays a vital role in sustaining efficient operations on the production floor. The position requires 1 to 3 years of experience in production coordination, WIP management, or material handling in a manufacturing environment. Candidates must possess strong communication, coordination, and follow-up skills along with the ability to maintain precise documentation using Inventory Management Software and MS Excel. The successful candidate will be a proactive problem solver capable of managing multiple production sections simultaneously without team management responsibilities. Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor the movement of raw, semi-finished, and work-in-process materials within the production hall to maintain continuous workflow.
• Ensure the timely transfer of job materials between different sections of production according to the production plan.
• Follow up on job completion status section-wise to guarantee proper production flow and adherence to schedules.
• Work closely with section supervisors to track pending, ongoing, and completed jobs and address any discrepancies promptly.
• Maintain accurate and updated records of material movements and the current status of all work-in-process inventory.
• Identify and report delays, bottlenecks, or pending jobs to the relevant management for quick resolution.
• Support the production team by coordinating cross-functional communication and facilitating smooth operations on the factory floor.
• Utilize inventory management and warehouse management systems to log data, generate reports, and monitor stock levels effectively.
• Apply basic data analysis to improve workflow efficiency and assist in production planning decisions.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards while handling materials across the production process.
