Description
Chughtai Healthcare is seeking a skilled AC Technician with at least two years of experience to join our facilities maintenance team. The ideal candidate is responsible for the maintenance, servicing, and repair of air conditioning, ventilation, and refrigeration systems ensuring all equipment operates at peak efficiency. This role requires responding promptly to equipment breakdowns and implementing necessary repairs to minimize downtime and maintain indoor environmental quality. The AC Technician works independently without managing a team but plays a critical role in supporting the infrastructure that enables a comfortable, safe, and healthy environment within the healthcare facility. This includes performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting technical issues, handling refrigerants safely, and utilizing leak detection tools with precision. The technician must comply with safety regulations while ensuring the systems meet operational standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine preventive maintenance on air conditioning, ventilation, and refrigeration systems to ensure optimal functionality.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose failures or malfunctions in HVAC systems and execute timely repairs.
- Handle refrigerants safely and in compliance with environmental and safety regulations.
- Use leak detection tools and techniques to identify and repair refrigerant leaks effectively.
- Install and commission HVAC systems and controls as required.
- Maintain accurate records of service, repair, and maintenance activities.
- Respond to emergency breakdowns promptly and restore system operations efficiently.
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with other maintenance personnel and departments to ensure seamless facility operations.
- Adopt safe work practices and promote a culture of safety in all maintenance activities.
