Chughtai Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Front Desk Officer / Phlebotomist with a medical background and at least two years of experience. This dual role involves efficiently managing patient registration and check-in processes while performing blood collection procedures with accuracy and care. The ideal candidate ensures proper patient identification and verification, adhering to medical terminology standards and maintaining a professional and welcoming environment at the healthcare facility. The role requires expertise in venipuncture, blood collection tube selection, and order of draw to support accurate lab testing. While performing phlebotomy duties, the officer also manages front desk operations, interacting with patients warmly and providing necessary information. This position does not involve team management but demands strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills to maintain smooth daily operations within Chughtai Healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients accurately during check-in, verifying patient identification details.
• Perform venipuncture and blood collection according to established protocols and safety standards.
• Select appropriate blood collection tubes following the order of draw to ensure proper specimen quality.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and handle medical data using proper medical terminology.
• Prepare patients for blood collection, explaining procedures clearly to ensure comfort and cooperation.
• Organize and manage front desk tasks including answering inquiries and scheduling appointments when required.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety regulations, and infection control practices during all procedures.
• Manage and update patient records systematically and accurately in the healthcare system.
• Coordinate specimen labeling and handling to facilitate timely laboratory testing.
• Communicate effectively with laboratory personnel to report specimen issues or discrepancies.
