Chughtai Healthcare seeks a dedicated Staff Nurse to provide compassionate, hands-on care to patients within their homes. This role focuses on assisting patients with daily activities including dressing and mobility, administering medications, injections, and wound care, and closely monitoring patient conditions. The ideal candidate holds a BS Nursing qualification, specifically as a PNC Staff or ICU Staff, and brings 2 to 3 years of relevant clinical experience. While this position does not involve managing a team, attention to detail, empathy, and strong clinical skills are essential to excel in this role. The Staff Nurse will take an active role in patient monitoring, vital signs assessment, and clinical evaluations, ensuring timely documentation of patient progress. They will also engage in patient education to promote health and wellness, contribute to effective handling of diagnostic coding related to patient care, and employ psychometric testing techniques as appropriate. This position requires a nurse capable of working independently while delivering high-quality patient-centered care aligned with the standards of Chughtai Healthcare.
Responsibilities
- Deliver hands-on, compassionate nursing care to patients in their home environment.
- Assist patients with daily living activities such as dressing, mobility, and personal hygiene.
- Administer medications, injections, and provide wound care following prescribed protocols.
- Monitor and accurately document vital signs, patient symptoms, and health status.
- Conduct clinical assessments to identify patient needs and changes in condition.
- Utilize patient monitoring systems to track health indicators effectively.
- Educate patients and caregivers on care plans, medication regimes, and preventative health measures.
- Apply psychometric testing where necessary to support patient evaluations.
- Perform diagnostic coding using ICD-10 and DSM-5 classifications to ensure accurate patient records.
- Maintain detailed records of patient progress, interventions, and responses to treatment.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
- Adhere strictly to healthcare regulations, protocols, and safety standards.
- Stay updated with current nursing practices, procedures, and industry developments.
- Ensure confidentiality and privacy of patient information at all times.
