Commpro Technologies Inc. seeks a detail-oriented Product Hunting and Sourcing Expert with a minimum of three years of experience to join our dynamic team. This role involves thorough product research, market analysis, and supplier sourcing to identify winning products and capitalize on market opportunities. The expert will manage a team of two, ensuring productive collaboration and efficient execution of sourcing strategies. The position demands proficiency in specialized tools such as Helium 10, Jungle Scout, Keepa, and SellerAmp, alongside strong capabilities in competitive analysis, demand forecasting, and quality assurance to support informed business decisions. The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating product viability by analyzing demand, competition, pricing history, and seasonality trends. They will handle profitability calculations, verify compliance with relevant regulations, and liaise directly with suppliers to negotiate pricing, minimum order quantities, packaging, and lead times. Maintaining up-to-date product research sheets and supplier databases is essential. This role demands a strong focus on supplier vetting, product sampling, quality control, and strategic tracking of competitor activities to explore emerging market opportunities effectively.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed product research using Helium 10, Jungle Scout, Keepa, SellerAmp, or equivalent tools to identify potential winning products.
• Analyze market demand, competition levels, pricing history, Best Seller Rank (BSR) trends, and seasonal variations to forecast product success.
• Calculate comprehensive product profitability including product costs, shipping charges, duties, marketplace fees, fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) fees, margin, and return on investment (ROI).
• Evaluate product compliance risks by analyzing trademarks, intellectual property issues, brand gating policies, restricted or hazardous material categories, and certification requirements such as CE and UKCA.
• Identify and vet suppliers through platforms like Alibaba, 1688, and local or wholesale sources to establish reliable supply chains.
• Negotiate supplier terms including pricing, minimum order quantities (MOQs), packaging specifications, and lead times to optimize costs and timelines.
• Coordinate product sampling and implement rigorous quality checks to ensure supplier consistency and product standards.
• Maintain comprehensive and current product research sheets and supplier databases to support decision-making and operational transparency.
• Monitor competitor listings continuously to identify trends, pricing strategies, and new market opportunities.
• Lead and manage a team of two sourcing professionals, providing guidance, delegation, and performance monitoring to meet company goals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align sourcing strategies with overall business objectives and market demands.
• Stay updated on industry trends, sourcing innovations, and regulatory developments to adjust processes and maintain competitive advantage.
