Quality Assurance Tester

Computer House is seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance Tester with at least one year of professional experience in software testing to join their team in Lahore, Pakistan. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about identifying bugs, enhancing product quality, and working closely with developers to deliver reliable software solutions. The position focuses on manual testing techniques including functional, regression, integration, and user interface testing. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the overall performance and quality of software products by applying thorough testing methodologies and QA best practices. The Quality Assurance Tester collaborates closely with developers and product teams to detect and resolve issues efficiently and contributes to improving QA processes and product reliability. While this position does not involve managing a team, it requires strong analytical skills, exceptional attention to detail, and effective communication abilities to work within a collaborative environment. Candidates should be proficient with tools such as Jira, Postman, TestRail, Selenium, and Playwright or similar platforms to support the testing lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive manual testing including functional, regression, integration, and user interface testing to ensure software quality and performance.
• Design, document, and maintain clear, detailed test cases and test scenarios that reflect product requirements and user expectations.
• Identify, document, and report software bugs and issues precisely to support timely resolution by development teams.
• Collaborate effectively with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and to troubleshoot reported problems.
• Participate in regular reviews of software development and QA processes to advocate enhancements that boost quality and testing effectiveness.
• Utilize and maintain expertise in testing tools such as Jira for bug tracking, Postman for API testing, TestRail for test management, and Selenium or Playwright for automation support.
• Ensure adherence to accepted quality assurance methodologies and industry standards to maintain consistent quality in software releases.
• Stay current with evolving QA best practices and software testing tools to continually improve testing efficiency and accuracy.
