Responsibilities
- Maintain and update the general ledger to ensure all financial transactions are recorded accurately and timely.
- Prepare and process expense tracking reports, verifying that all expenditures comply with organizational policies.
- Assist in the monthly, quarterly, and annual reconciliation of accounts to identify and correct discrepancies.
- Support the preparation of financial statements and reports for senior management review.
- Collaborate with other departments to gather financial data and resolve any accounting issues.
- Use Excel to analyze financial data, create spreadsheets, and generate reports to streamline accounting processes.
- Monitor accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts by compiling relevant financial information.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, financial regulations, and internal controls.
- Participate in internal and external audits by providing required documentation and explanations regarding financial activities.
