Production Supervisor & Quality Assurance

Description

Cosmix Labs is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor & Quality Assurance professional to lead and oversee the production processes of cosmetics, skincare, and personal care products. The ideal candidate has between three to five years of experience in production management and quality control within the cosmetics or personal care industry. They will be responsible for supervising daily production activities, ensuring adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and maintaining quality standards while managing a team of 15 personnel. This role requires a hands-on leader who has a strong background in managing creams, liquids, and similar products and who can ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company protocols. The Production Supervisor & Quality Assurance professional will also be responsible for driving corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), managing deviation investigations, and maintaining SOP control and audit readiness. The candidate must possess a bachelor’s degree in applied chemistry or an engineering discipline from a reputed university. This role combines strong leadership, technical know-how, and quality assurance expertise to support the company’s mission to produce high-quality personal care products consistently and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule daily production activities to meet manufacturing targets and deadlines.
• Supervise and lead a team of 15 production staff, providing guidance, training, and performance management.
• Ensure strict adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) across all production operations.
• Manage quality assurance processes including electronic batch record management and audit readiness.
• Conduct deviation investigations and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to resolve quality issues.
• Maintain control of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and ensure all production activities comply with established protocols.
• Coordinate with quality control teams to monitor product quality and implement continuous improvements.
• Oversee production of creams, liquids, and similar cosmetic and personal care products, ensuring consistent product quality.
• Support regulatory compliance efforts by preparing and maintaining documentation necessary for audits and inspections.
• Drive process improvements to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and improve operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve production challenges and optimize manufacturing workflows.
• Provide regular reports on production performance, quality metrics, and team progress to senior management.
