The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience with the Upwork platform, demonstrating expertise in locating relevant projects, analyzing client requirements, and crafting professional, customized proposals. This role demands strong communication skills to engage effectively with clients and a thorough understanding of the Upwork bidding process to maximize success rates in securing projects. The candidate will handle fresh or new Upwork accounts and maintain a sharp awareness of additional freelancing platforms such as Fiverr and Freelancer, providing versatile support to our team. As an Up Work Bidder at Craft4Dev, the professional must be adept at optimizing profiles for better visibility and engagement using SEO techniques tailored to Upwork’s environment. They will actively research and match jobs based on market trends and client needs, submitting targeted bids that align with client expectations. This role is full-time and on-site, offering salary commensurate with experience. The position values independence in work and requires meticulous attention to the details of client projects to ensure that proposals stand out and result in project awards.

Responsibilities

• Locate and analyze relevant projects on Upwork and similar freelancing platforms.
• Review and interpret client requirements to formulate effective bidding strategies.
• Write clear, professional, and customized proposals tailored to client needs.
• Manage the upkeep and strategic optimization of Upwork profiles including SEO and analytics.
• Perform keyword research and use profile analytics tools to enhance proposal visibility and relevancy.
• Submit targeted and high-quality bids to increase the likelihood of project acquisition.
• Maintain and work with new or fresh Upwork accounts to ensure compliance and competitive positioning.
• Stay updated on Upwork's job matching algorithm and apply best practices to improve bid success rates.
• Communicate effectively with clients to clarify project scopes, expectations, and provide relevant updates.
• Leverage knowledge of other freelancing platforms like Fiverr and Freelancer to broaden business opportunities.
• Develop and maintain records of bidding activities, client interactions, and project outcomes.
• Continuously improve bidding tactics based on platform changes and competitive market analysis.
