Crave Inn Live Tandori Pizza is seeking a skilled Chef to join our kitchen team in Abbottabad. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of professional cooking experience and demonstrate expertise in food preparation and cooking techniques, including baking pizza in a brick clay oven. This role requires managing a team of one person, ensuring smooth kitchen operations and maintaining high standards of food quality and safety. Preference will be given to candidates local to Abbottabad. As a Chef at Crave Inn Live Tandori Pizza, you will take charge of kitchen production, control food costs, and maintain cleanliness and hygiene following food safety and HACCP standards. Your role involves coordinating kitchen workflow efficiently to deliver consistent and delicious menu items. You will also be expected to demonstrate strong knife skills, manage heat and temperature control effectively, and contribute to the overall guest dining experience through excellent food preparation and presentation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a wide range of dishes, ensuring high quality and consistency in taste and presentation.
• Bake pizzas using a brick clay oven, mastering the unique techniques required for this cooking method.
• Manage kitchen operations, including scheduling, workflow management, and inventory control.
• Lead and supervise a kitchen team of one, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
• Implement and uphold food safety standards and HACCP protocols to guarantee a clean and safe kitchen environment.
• Control food costs by monitoring ingredient usage and minimizing waste without compromising quality.
• Maintain knife skills and ensure proper handling and care of all kitchen tools and equipment.
• Regulate heat and temperature during cooking to achieve optimal food texture, flavor, and safety.
• Coordinate kitchen production to deliver timely and efficient service during peak and non-peak hours.
• Collaborate with management to develop new recipes and menu items that reflect the restaurant's cuisine and customer preferences.
• Ensure compliance with all health codes and local regulations concerning food service.
• Maintain a positive and professional work environment within the kitchen area.
