This position requires a professional with a strong portfolio in short-form video editing, skilled in pacing, storytelling, and retention techniques to create content that resonates with target audiences. The editor works closely with the creative team to accurately follow briefs and reference styles, utilizing advanced video editing software tools such as Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, and CapCut PC to deliver polished final products. This role demands exceptional attention to detail, quick turnaround times, and reliable communication. You will be responsible for selecting and placing relevant B-roll footage, crafting engaging captions and text animations, and integrating sound design, music, and sound effects to enhance the viewing experience. The ideal candidate possesses strong English comprehension skills and a solid understanding of motion graphics, ensuring all videos consistently meet the expectations of Creative Content Studio. While this position does not include team management responsibilities, it involves working collaboratively within a fast-paced creative environment to produce 2 to 3 high-quality short-form videos daily.
Responsibilities
- Edit and produce 2 to 3 high-quality short-form videos daily that align with content goals and creative briefs.
- Apply excellent pacing and storytelling techniques to maximize viewer retention and engagement.
- Select and place appropriate B-roll footage to complement primary video content effectively.
- Create and integrate engaging captions, text animations, and motion graphics to enhance visual appeal.
- Design soundscapes by incorporating music, sound effects, and dialog to improve the overall video experience.
- Ensure consistency and accuracy by following reference styles and detailed briefs from the creative team.
- Maintain reliable and timely communication with team members to deliver projects within tight deadlines.
- Review and refine video edits to achieve high standards of quality and creativity.
- Stay updated with the latest video editing trends and software features to continuously improve output quality.
- Coordinate workflows to support fast turnaround without compromising on video excellence.
