Cx is seeking a dedicated Surveillance Specialist responsible for overseeing the operation and management of surveillance systems to ensure the security and safety of company premises. This role involves monitoring CCTV systems, utilizing video analytics tools to detect and analyze security incidents, and managing access control systems to regulate entry and exit. The ideal candidate demonstrates a strong attention to detail, a commitment to maintaining high security standards, and the ability to operate surveillance technology effectively. This position does not involve team management but requires collaboration with other security personnel and departments to uphold safety protocols. The Surveillance Specialist plays a critical role in identifying and mitigating security risks, responding to incidents promptly, and maintaining accurate security logs and reports. Continuous improvement of surveillance processes and staying updated with technological advancements in security systems are also core aspects of the role.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor CCTV surveillance systems to maintain safety and security within company premises.
• Analyze video footage using video analytics tools to detect unusual activities or security breaches.
• Manage and maintain access control systems to ensure proper authorization for premises entry and exit.
• Respond promptly to security alarms and incidents, escalating when necessary to higher authorities.
• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance checks on surveillance equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of surveillance activities, incidents, and system malfunctions.
• Assist in the development and implementation of security policies relating to surveillance operations.
• Collaborate with security teams and other departments to coordinate security efforts and improve surveillance coverage.
• Stay informed of the latest surveillance technology trends and recommend updates or enhancements to existing systems.
• Ensure compliance with relevant security guidelines, data protection regulations, and privacy standards.
