Dawat-e-Islami Trust is seeking a diligent and experienced Site Supervisor to oversee daily construction activities and ensure efficient site operations. The suitable candidate will be responsible for supervising labor, contractors, and materials to guarantee that all work adheres to project drawings, specifications, and timelines. This role demands a thorough understanding of construction methods and civil drawings, as well as strong coordination skills to interact effectively with engineers and project management. Although this position does not include managing a team, the Site Supervisor must maintain strict quality and safety standards to ensure project success. The Site Supervisor plays a pivotal role in maintaining high standards for quality control and site safety. They prepare daily progress reports and promptly communicate any site issues to the management, ensuring smooth project progression. Strong problem-solving abilities and clear communication skills are essential to coordinate between multiple stakeholders and resolve any on-site challenges promptly. This position requires a minimum of two years of relevant experience in site supervision within the construction industry. The ideal candidate will exhibit attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive approach towards site management duties.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily construction activities and site operations to ensure efficient workflow.
- Ensure all work complies with project drawings, technical specifications, and scheduled timelines.
- Monitor labor productivity and coordinate contractor activities on-site.
- Oversee material usage to align with project requirements and minimize waste.
- Maintain rigorous quality control by conducting regular inspections and enforcing standards.
- Implement and monitor adherence to safety guidelines and procedures on the construction site.
- Collaborate closely with engineers, contractors, and project management teams to resolve issues and maintain project quality.
- Prepare detailed daily progress reports documenting site activities and any challenges encountered.
- Report any site problems or delays promptly to the management team for swift resolution.
- Facilitate communication between on-site personnel and project stakeholders to ensure clarity and coordination.
- Identify potential risks and suggest corrective measures to maintain project timelines and quality.
- Continuously improve site processes to enhance efficiency and safety.
