Day to Day Healthcare is seeking a dependable Delivery Rider to efficiently deliver healthcare products to pharmacies throughout Lahore. This role requires someone who is highly punctual and reliable, ensuring timely deliveries daily while maintaining adherence to safety regulations. The Delivery Rider will manage day-to-day order handling, payment collection, and accurate record keeping, playing a crucial role in the smooth operation of the company's distribution process. The ideal candidate must possess excellent knowledge of Lahore routes, holding a valid motorbike license and CNIC. Strong honesty and integrity in handling cash transactions are essential. In addition to delivery responsibilities, the Delivery Rider will actively engage with pharmacies to take orders during visits, recover outstanding payments, and work closely with the office to reconcile invoices and maintain up-to-date ledgers. This position demands excellent time management and organizational skills to balance multiple tasks efficiently. Candidates must have their own motorbike, a valid licence, and show dedication to providing outstanding service in the healthcare distribution sector. This role comes with a fuel allowance on top of the salary, and references are required.
Responsibilities
- Securely deliver healthcare products to pharmacies across Lahore, ensuring on-time delivery and adherence to safe riding standards.
- Take orders from pharmacies during each visit and accurately report these to the office for order fulfillment.
- Collect payments on delivery while maintaining honesty and accuracy in cash handling.
- Recover outstanding payments promptly and assist in invoice clearance.
- Maintain daily ledger reconciliation with each pharmacy, ensuring records are accurate and submitted to the office.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance to guarantee the motorbike is in reliable working condition.
- Plan delivery routes efficiently using GPS navigation and vast knowledge of Lahore routes to optimize delivery times.
- Handle pharmacy stock carefully during distribution to avoid damage and losses.
- Record proof of delivery meticulously and maintain organized documentation for tracking all orders and payments.
- Communicate professionally and courteously with pharmacy staff to foster good business relationships.
- Manage timely delivery schedules and report any discrepancies or delays promptly to supervisors.
- Maintain compliance with all traffic and safety regulations to ensure personal and product safety.
- Perform payment recovery activities diligently while maintaining professionalism and customer trust.
- Support office operations by providing accurate and up-to-date records on payments, invoices, and delivery details.
