Decision HR Consultancy is seeking skilled 6G Welders with a minimum of two years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidates must hold a valid 6G welding certificate and demonstrate proficiency in specialized welding techniques such as GTAW (TIG) and SMAW (Stick) processes. This position focuses on executing precise welding operations on pipe joints, ensuring high-quality workmanship and compliance with safety standards. Candidates should be adept at pipe fit-up and joint preparation to support efficient welding activities. While this role does not involve managing a team, strong individual performance and attention to detail are essential. The selected welders will work in environments that require accuracy and adherence to welding codes and best practices to achieve structurally sound and reliable welds. Collaborating closely with supervisors and other trades, welders contribute to completing projects on time and within specifications. Continuous learning and maintaining welding certifications are important to keep up with advancements in welding technologies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform 6G welding operations on pipe joints using GTAW (TIG) and SMAW (Stick) welding processes following established codes and procedures.
• Prepare pipes and fittings, including precise fit-up and joint preparation to ensure optimal weld quality.
• Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications to comply with project requirements.
• Maintain all welding equipment and tools in proper working condition, ensuring safety and efficiency.
• Inspect welds visually and by using non-destructive testing methods to confirm integrity and conformance to standards.
• Adhere strictly to workplace health and safety regulations and company policies during all welding tasks.
• Document welding activities accurately, including work performed, materials used, and inspections.
• Collaborate effectively with supervisors and team members to coordinate workflow and meet project deadlines.
• Maintain up-to-date welding certifications and expand knowledge of welding techniques and safety practices.
