The Store Incharge is responsible for supervising daily operations, upholding quality standards, and ensuring seamless coordination between stock handling and record maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily warehouse and retail store operations including stock control, receiving, and issuing materials according to verified purchase orders.
- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels using ERP systems or manual registers, performing regular physical stock verifications.
- Supervise and coordinate a team of three staff members including warehouse helpers and store assistants to ensure efficient workflow and task completion.
- Inspect incoming shipments ensuring compliance with goods received notes (GRN) and company quality standards.
- Maintain detailed daily records of stock movement, inventory adjustments, and compliance with safety and cleanliness protocols within the storage area.
- Conduct periodic store audits to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions for inventory accuracy and stock loss prevention.
- Utilize Warehouse Management System (WMS) software and Microsoft Excel for data entry, reporting, and analysis purposes to improve inventory control and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with procurement and logistics teams to coordinate timely stock replenishments and manage stock obsolescence and returns effectively.
- Develop and enforce standard operating procedures for material handling, storage, and inventory management to meet regulatory and company standards.
- Train and mentor store personnel to improve productivity, safety awareness, and adherence to company policies.
