Project Manager Finishing Works

Description

We are  seeking an experienced Project Manager Finishing Works to lead and oversee the successful execution of finishing projects. The ideal candidate brings at least eight years of relevant experience, demonstrating strong expertise in finishing works execution and project management. This role requires managing large teams, projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The candidate should work closely with stakeholders to plan, schedule, and control project costs, leveraging tools such as Primavera P6 for effective project scheduling. This role demands exceptional attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to monitor progress and generate accurate reports. In addition, the role involves managing contracts and subcontractors to ensure compliance and quality assurance throughout all phases of the finishing works. Candidates with educational qualifications in civil engineering or related fields (B-Eng Civil, B-Tec Civil, or DAE Civil) will be preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed project plans and schedules, utilizing Primavera P6/MS project to organize and track project milestones and deadlines.
• Manage and coordinate teams  involved in finishing works to ensure adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
• Oversee the execution of finishing works including drywall and suspended ceiling installation, surface preparation, and paint application/ tile fixing and glazing. 
• Monitor project progress continuously and provide regular status reports to stakeholders, highlighting any risks or issues.
• Implement quality assurance and quality control measures to maintain high standards throughout the project lifecycle.
• Control project costs and manage budgets effectively to ensure financial targets are met.
• Manage contracts and coordinate subcontractors to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and project requirements.
• Communicate effectively with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to facilitate smooth project execution and resolve any operational challenges.
• Ensure all finishing works meet regulatory and company standards, maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
• Maintain detailed documentation of project activities, changes, and approvals to support project transparency and accountability.
• Continuously evaluate project processes and implement improvements to increase efficiency and quality.
