DevPel is seeking an innovative MERN Stack Developer with 2 years of professional experience to join our dynamic team at our Lahore office. In this onsite role, you will build modern, scalable, and responsive web applications using MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js. As a modern developer, you will not only write clean, modular code but also leverage AI-assisted development tools to accelerate delivery and integrate smart, AI-driven features into our products. You will collaborate closely with designers, product managers, and developers in a fast-paced environment that prioritizes cutting-edge technology, scalable architecture, and high-quality user experiences.

Responsibilities

• Full-Stack & AI Development: Design, build, and maintain scalable web applications using the modern MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js/Next.js, Node.js), while actively integrating smart, generative, or predictive AI features.
• Modern UI/UX Engineering: Build highly responsive, interactive, and pixel-perfect user interfaces using React.js, Next.js, and utility-first frameworks like Tailwind CSS, ensuring seamless cross-device compatibility.
• Advanced API Architecture: Architect and implement secure, high-performance RESTful (and GraphQL) APIs using Node.js and Express.js to support frontend features and seamless integration with third-party LLMs (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini).
• Database & Vector Search Management: Design and optimize MongoDB schemas and aggregation pipelines, incorporating vector search capabilities (e.g., MongoDB Atlas Vector Search, Pinecone) for AI-driven data retrieval and RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) implementations.
• AI-Assisted Workflows: Leverage AI coding assistants (such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or ChatGPT) to accelerate prototyping, write unit tests, debug efficiently, and optimize daily development cycles.
• Modern Code Standards: Write clean, modular, and maintainable code using modern JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript, adhering to strict typing standards and industry best practices.
• State Management: Implement robust state management and server-state data fetching strategies using Redux Toolkit, React Query (TanStack), Zustand, or Context API.
• Performance Optimization: Proactively monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize application performance, rendering speeds (SSR/SSG), and overall scalability using modern debugging and profiling tools.
• Agile Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and fellow developers, to rapidly deliver high-quality software solutions in a fast-paced onsite environment.
• Version Control & CI/CD: Maintain code integrity using Git version control, follow structured branching workflows, and support continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Code Reviews & Mentorship: Actively participate in peer code reviews, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement in code quality, security, and application performance.
• Continuous Innovation: Stay updated with emerging web technologies, prompting techniques, and AI ecosystems, applying new tools and practices to drive product innovation.
• Cloud Deployment: Contribute to the deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of applications in modern cloud hosting environments (e.g., AWS, Vercel, DigitalOcean) to ensure smooth functionality in live production.
