Tutoronics seeks an experienced Online IGCSE, AS Level & A Level Accounting Tutor to join its remote team. This part-time freelance opportunity calls for a passionate educator capable of delivering engaging and effective lessons tailored to each student's unique learning needs. The tutor will play a vital role in guiding students through complex accounting concepts, preparing them for their IGCSE, AS Level, and A Level examinations, and helping them achieve academic excellence. With responsibility for managing a team of 10 persons, the tutor will also contribute to fostering a collaborative and supportive virtual teaching environment. The tutor will leverage strong knowledge of Management Accounting, Financial Statement Preparation, and various online tutoring and virtual classroom tools. They will prepare comprehensive lesson plans, facilitate interactive virtual sessions, and continuously monitor and assess student progress to provide timely and constructive feedback. Ideal candidates possess a minimum of two years of relevant online tutoring experience, strong command of the English language, proficiency with digital teaching platforms such as Google Meet and Zoom, and the ability to create a dynamic and motivating learning space for diverse student groups. Reliability, professionalism, and excellent communication skills are essential in this role.
Responsibilities
- Deliver clear and engaging online accounting lessons aligned with IGCSE, AS Level, and A Level curricula.
- Explain complex accounting topics, adapting teaching strategies to meet individual student learning styles and needs.
- Prepare comprehensive lesson plans, practice exercises, and revision materials consistent with curriculum standards.
- Conduct interactive virtual classes using tools like digital whiteboards, screen sharing, and other teaching technology.
- Monitor student progress regularly and provide timely, constructive feedback to support improvements and academic growth.
- Maintain professionalism by adhering to schedules, ensuring punctuality, and communicating effectively with students and their guardians.
- Lead and coordinate a team of 10 tutors, facilitating collaboration and sharing of best practices to enhance the overall tutoring experience.
- Stay updated on changes and developments in IGCSE, AS Level, and A Level accounting curricula to ensure relevant and current instruction.
- Create a supportive and motivating online learning environment that encourages student participation and confidence.
- Manage and maintain reliable technological resources and a suitable home teaching space to ensure smooth online lesson delivery.
- Apply differentiated instruction techniques to cater to diverse learning abilities and help each student reach their full potential.
- Promote ethical educational practices and maintain confidentiality related to student information and performance.
