This part-time and freelance role involves delivering personalized, high-quality mathematics tutoring to students remotely. The tutor will utilize interactive online teaching tools and methodologies to clarify complex mathematical concepts, tailor lessons to individual learning styles, and promote academic success in international curricula. Strong subject expertise, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in digital teaching platforms are essential for this position. As a key member of the tutoring team, the selected candidate will play a pivotal role in facilitating student engagement through collaborative and innovative online sessions. Responsibilities include preparing detailed lesson plans, creating practice and revision materials, monitoring student progress with constructive feedback, and maintaining professionalism throughout all interactions. The tutor must ensure a productive and supportive remote teaching environment while leveraging tools such as Zoom, whiteboards, and screen sharing to optimize learning outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver interactive and engaging online mathematics lessons for IGCSE, AS Level, and A Level students using virtual platforms.
• Clearly explain complex mathematical theories and problems, adapting teaching strategies to meet individual student needs and learning styles.
• Prepare comprehensive lesson plans, practice exercises, and revision materials aligned with IGCSE, AS Level, and A Level curricula.
• Utilize digital whiteboard software, screen sharing, and collaboration tools to enhance student participation and understanding during lessons.
• Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback to help improve academic performance.
• Maintain punctuality, professionalism, and effective communication with students and parents to foster a positive learning relationship.
• Manage and collaborate effectively within a team of 10 tutors to share best practices and enhance overall educational delivery.
• Stay updated with the latest curriculum changes and online teaching methodologies to continuously improve tutoring effectiveness.
• Ensure a reliable and distraction-free online teaching environment, supported by a dependable internet connection and appropriate equipment.
