Description
Direct Focus Community Aid-DFCA seeks a skilled Web Developer & PI Associate to join their team and lead the development, maintenance, and management of the organization’s website and digital communication platforms. This role requires a professional with strong expertise in web technologies, content management systems, and digital media to ensure a dynamic online presence that effectively supports organizational goals. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing technical aspects such as hosting, security, and troubleshooting, along with the creative development of digital content including social media management, graphic design, and multimedia content creation. Managing a team of three, the role blends technical proficiency and leadership to enhance DFCA’s outreach and digital footprint.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and constantly update the organization’s website and web-based systems to ensure optimal performance and user experience.
- Manage all technical aspects of the website including hosting, domain management, security protocols, regular backups, and troubleshooting issues promptly.
- Design and implement databases, dashboards, and online forms that streamline internal processes and enhance data collection and reporting efficiency.
- Provide technical support for the organization’s software and information systems to maintain seamless operational workflows.
- Create, edit, and publish news stories, program updates, announcements, and success stories to keep stakeholders informed and engaged.
- Lead management of DFCA’s social media platforms by regularly updating content, monitoring engagement, and driving visibility.
- Design engaging social media posts, banners, infographics, presentations, and promotional visuals that comply with organizational branding standards.
- Collect and curate photographs, videos, and field updates from program activities for publication and storytelling purposes.
- Maintain comprehensive digital archives that include photographs, videos, reports, and communication materials ensuring easy retrieval and organization.
- Conduct regular monitoring and analysis of website and social media performance metrics to generate reports that inform strategic improvements.
- Ensure all digital content and communications adhere strictly to organizational confidentiality, safeguarding policies, and donor visibility requirements.
- Lead and coordinate a team of three professionals to successfully execute web development and digital communication tasks within deadlines.
- Stay current with industry trends, tools, and best practices in web development, digital media, and online engagement to continuously enhance technical capabilities.
