Senior AI Mobile Engineer

Description

Dissolve Labs is seeking a highly skilled Senior AI Mobile Engineer to take full ownership of the development and deployment of cutting-edge AI-powered mobile applications. The successful candidate will leverage deep expertise in mobile development and artificial intelligence, particularly in large language model integration and conversational AI technologies. This role involves designing, building, and maintaining advanced AI applications with voice AI capabilities such as speech-to-text, text-to-speech, and voice cloning. You will be responsible for making sound technical decisions, managing project timelines effectively, and solving complex challenges to ensure the successful delivery of products from concept to launch. This position requires strong proficiency in backend AI system development using FastAPI and Python, as well as expertise in implementing prompt engineering and conversation orchestration techniques. The engineer will manage AI memory and context with retrieval-augmented generation and vector database technologies, integrate various APIs to support asynchronous workflows, and deploy models on prominent cloud platforms. While this role does not involve managing a team, it requires close collaboration with web and mobile developers and conducting thorough market analysis to enhance user experience and feature relevance. Documentation and optimization of AI systems for high performance and maintainability are also key aspects of this role.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end development, deployment, and maintenance of production-grade conversational AI applications focused on voice AI, including speech-to-text, text-to-speech, and voice cloning components.
• Design and develop scalable and efficient AI backend systems using FastAPI and Python to support robust AI features.
• Implement prompt engineering and conversation orchestration strategies to improve the responsiveness and quality of AI interactions.
• Manage AI memory and dialogue context through retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), vector database utilization, and embeddings for seamless and continuous conversations.
• Integrate multiple external and internal APIs to support complex asynchronous workflows and data exchanges within AI applications.
• Deploy AI models and applications to leading cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, ensuring scalability, high availability, and reliability.
• Perform mobile app market analysis to identify trends and user needs, driving informed AI feature development and enhancing overall user experience.
• Collaborate with web and mobile development teams to ensure AI functionalities are well coordinated and integrated across all user interface platforms.
• Conduct thorough testing, debugging, and performance optimization of AI systems to meet accuracy, speed, and user satisfaction targets.
• Document AI development procedures, API integrations, deployment processes, and best practices to facilitate knowledge sharing and maintainability.
