Description
Domus Heights is seeking a qualified and experienced Accountant to join our finance team located at Umer Block, Bahria Town Phase 8, Rawalpindi. The ideal candidate will hold a Master’s degree in Finance or an equivalent qualification and have a proven background in accounting processes, supported by proficient use of QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel. This position requires owning a personal laptop to efficiently manage accounting tasks and ensure accurate financial recordkeeping. The Accountant will play a critical role in maintaining the financial health of the company by overseeing transactions, preparing financial reports, and supporting budgeting efforts. As a part of the role, the candidate will manage a small team of one person, promoting collaboration and ensuring precise and timely completion of financial duties. The role offers a competitive salary range between Rs. 60,000 and Rs. 70,000 per month along with company-provided accommodation. This on-site position includes direct interaction with various departments which requires the ability to communicate clearly and work effectively in a dynamic environment. The candidate must be ready for an on-site interview scheduled for Wednesday, 23 September 2026. Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations to ensure accurate financial data.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and statements to provide insight into the company’s financial status and support decision-making processes.
- Utilize QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel to maintain accurate and organized financial records, perform data analysis, and assist in budget preparation.
- Supervise and guide the work of a small accounting team member to ensure completion of tasks with accuracy and efficiency.
- Perform periodic audits and compliance checks to adhere to financial regulations and company policies.
- Assist with payroll processing and tax filings to ensure timely and accurate compensation management and regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with other departments to collect financial data, clarify discrepancies, and prepare financial forecasts.
- Maintain confidentiality of financial information and secure electronic accounting systems to protect sensitive data.
- Support management by providing detailed financial insights, variance analysis, and recommendations for cost control and revenue enhancement.
- Coordinate with external auditors during audits and provide required documentation and explanations promptly.
