Description
Dot Print is seeking a skilled Electrician with a strong background in electrical installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of relevant experience and a Diploma of Associate Engineering (DAE) in Electrical Technology.
Responsibilities
- Install, wire, and rewire electrical systems according to technical diagrams and industry standards.
- Diagnose electrical faults and system issues using multimeters, circuit testers, and insulation resistance testing equipment.
- Perform routine electrical maintenance and inspections to identify potential problems before they impact production.
- Ensure compliance with the National Electrical Code and company safety policies during all electrical work.
- Test electrical circuits and equipment for continuity, voltage levels, and safe operation.
- Troubleshoot and rectify electrical faults in industrial electrical systems to minimize downtime.
- Read and interpret electrical blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and inspections performed.
- Collaborate with other team members and departments to support operational goals.
- Manage and organize tools, equipment, and inventory related to electrical maintenance tasks.
- Stay updated on new electrical technologies and safety procedures relevant to the industry.
