Dr. Frigz International (Pvt) Ltd is seeking an experienced IT Manager to oversee the company's information technology operations and infrastructure. This role involves managing computer systems, servers, networks, and internet connectivity to ensure continuous and secure IT service delivery. The IT Manager coordinates hardware and software installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting while ensuring the smooth operation of IT equipment such as printers, scanners, and CCTV systems. Alongside managing network security, antivirus protection, data backup, and recovery processes, the person also develops and implements IT policies, procedures, and cybersecurity measures to safeguard company data. Though this role does not involve managing a team, the IT Manager acts as a key technical resource, providing direct support and resolving hardware, software, and network issues for employees. The position requires strong analytical and problem-solving abilities as well as excellent communication to liaise with internet and external IT service providers. The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline with a minimum of five years’ relevant experience in IT management. Practical knowledge of networking, cybersecurity, IT asset management, and server administration is essential to maintain robust and efficient IT operations at Dr. Frigz International (Pvt) Ltd.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain computer systems, servers, networks, and ensure stable internet connectivity.
- Supervise the installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of hardware and software systems.
- Ensure smooth operation and timely servicing of computers, printers, scanners, CCTV systems, and other IT equipment.
- Oversee network security controls including antivirus protection, data backup strategies, and disaster recovery procedures.
- Monitor and maintain LAN/WAN networks, Wi-Fi infrastructure, routers, switches, and firewall devices to ensure network reliability and security.
- Manage user accounts, email systems, access permissions, and implement IT security policies to protect sensitive data.
- Provide technical support to employees by diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network issues promptly.
- Maintain comprehensive IT asset inventory including software licenses, warranties, and technical documentation to support lifecycle management.
- Coordinate IT service activities and vendor relationships with internet service providers and external IT service organizations.
- Develop, enforce, and update IT policies, procedures, and cybersecurity measures in compliance with industry best practices.
- Ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of company data through layered security measures.
- Conduct regular system audits and vulnerability assessments to identify and mitigate security risks.
- Document IT incidents, problems, and changes to support continuous improvement and service management.
- Stay current with new technology trends and recommend upgrades or changes to enhance IT infrastructure performance.
- Support strategic IT planning and budgeting processes to align with organizational goals.
- Promote adherence to IT governance and compliance requirements relevant to the industry.
- Collaborate with other departments to understand their IT needs and deliver effective solutions.
- Assist in planning and implementing IT projects ensuring minimal business disruption.
- Utilize IT service management tools such as ServiceNow to track incidents and manage service requests efficiently.
