Description
DynTek Engineering is seeking a skilled CNC Machine Operator specializing in Milling and Lathe operations to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate is proficient in G Code Programming, machine setup, and blueprint reading, ensuring precise and efficient production processes. This role requires hands-on experience with CNC Milling and Lathe machines, maintaining high-quality standards and adherence to safety protocols. The operator will work with close attention to detail to produce components according to specifications, playing a key role in delivering products that meet customer expectations. This position requires a dedicated professional with a background in mechanical technology or related education and a minimum of three years of relevant practical experience. The role does not involve team management but demands strong individual responsibility in operating equipment, performing quality checks, and troubleshooting machine issues. The CNC Machine Operator is essential to the manufacturing workflow, ensuring timely production and maintenance of equipment for optimal performance.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC Milling and Lathe machines to produce parts according to detailed blueprints and specifications.
- Interpret and apply G Code programming to control machine functions and optimize machining processes.
- Read and analyze engineering drawings and blueprints to verify design requirements and machining accuracy.
- Perform precise machine setup, including tooling and fixture alignment, to ensure consistency in operations.
- Monitor machine operations continuously to detect malfunctions or deviations and make immediate corrections.
- Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC machines to minimize downtime and maintain performance.
- Inspect finished products using measuring instruments to verify dimensional accuracy and adherence to quality standards.
- Maintain clean and safe work environment complying with safety standards and company policies.
- Collaborate with production team members to optimize workflow and meet production deadlines.
- Document machine performance, maintenance activities, and production results accurately for reporting and reference.
