Description
E Links is seeking a detail-oriented and diligent Account Assistant to join our finance department. The ideal candidate has a minimum of two years of experience in handling accounts payable and receivable processes. This role requires proficiency in accounting software, Microsoft Excel, and accurate data entry to support the company’s financial operations effectively. The Account Assistant plays a vital role in maintaining precise financial records and ensuring smooth transactional workflows without managing a team. The successful candidate consistently applies their knowledge and skills to process invoices, reconcile accounts, and assist in financial reporting. They work closely with internal departments to track payments and resolve discrepancies. Attention to detail, strong organizational capabilities, and the ability to work independently are crucial to succeed in this position.
Responsibilities
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and timely.
- Perform data entry tasks to maintain updated financial records using accounting software.
- Utilize Microsoft Excel, including formulas, to organize, analyze, and report financial data.
- Reconcile bank statements and supplier accounts to ensure accuracy of financial information.
- Assist with invoice preparation, billing, and payment processing procedures.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities by preparing necessary documentation.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records or transactions.
- Maintain proper filing and documentation of financial data and correspondence.
- Communicate with vendors and clients to follow up on outstanding payments and invoices.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth and consistent financial operations.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures while ensuring compliance with relevant financial regulations.
