Ecom Professionals is seeking an experienced Ecommerce Manager to oversee and optimize the company's online sales platforms. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience managing ecommerce catalogs using tools like Rithum and Channel Advisor. This role requires a strong command of written English and proficiency in Microsoft Excel to efficiently handle inventory data and sales analysis. The Ecommerce Manager will be responsible for maintaining accurate product listings, ensuring timely updates of inventory, and collaborating closely with supply chain and marketing teams to drive online sales performance. This position does not involve managing a team but demands strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently with attention to detail and speed. The successful candidate will play a critical role in enhancing the online shopping experience, managing various ecommerce platforms, and ensuring that all product information is accurate and up to date. They will handle daily catalog operations, optimize inventory management processes, and utilize ecommerce software to monitor sales trends and adjust strategies accordingly. The Ecommerce Manager will also maintain consistency in product presentation across multiple channels and ensure that the company’s ecommerce presence supports its broader business goals. Responsibilities
- Manage and update the ecommerce product catalog using platforms such as Rithum and Channel Advisor.
- Maintain accurate inventory data and coordinate inventory management efforts using appropriate software tools.
- Regularly analyze sales data and inventory reports with Microsoft Excel to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Ensure product information is complete, accurate, and consistent across all online sales channels.
- Work with supply chain and marketing teams to synchronize inventory levels and sales promotions.
- Monitor the performance of ecommerce listings and make timely adjustments to optimize sales and customer experience.
- Handle fast and accurate data entry tasks related to product listings, pricing, and inventory updates.
- Maintain thorough documentation of ecommerce catalog changes and inventory updates for internal records.
- Track and resolve discrepancies in inventory records to prevent stockouts or overstock situations.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and new ecommerce platform features to enhance catalog management.
- Support onboarding of new products to the ecommerce platforms, ensuring compliance with company standards.
- Perform routine audits of ecommerce catalog to enforce quality and consistency standards.
- Collaborate with customer service teams to resolve product-related queries and feedback received from customers.
- Use ecommerce analytic tools to monitor customer behavior and provide insights to improve product presentation.
- Assist in training junior staff or temporary personnel on ecommerce catalog management procedures, when necessary.
