Description
Ecom-Xpert is seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry professional to accurately input, update, and maintain data in our systems. The ideal candidate possesses strong typing skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel, ensuring precise handling of large volumes of data. This role requires excellent attention to detail and the ability to work independently without managing a team. Fluency in reading and writing English is essential for clear communication and data accuracy within the company’s operational framework. The Data Entry specialist will be responsible for verifying data accuracy, using Excel formulas to automate repetitive tasks, and managing data input workflows efficiently. This position demands commitment to maintaining data integrity, meeting deadlines, and supporting different teams by providing accurate and timely data entry services. The role does not require leading others but emphasizes individual accountability and effective time management to contribute to Ecom-Xpert’s overall success.
Responsibilities
- Enter data from various sources quickly and accurately into Microsoft Excel spreadsheets.
- Use Excel formulas to automate calculations, data validation, and error checking.
- Verify and review data entries for completeness and accuracy.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive information while handling data.
- Update and maintain records on company databases and systems.
- Review, correct, and reconcile discrepancies or errors in data entries.
- Organize and format data to meet reporting and operational requirements.
- Communicate effectively in English to clarify and resolve data inconsistencies.
- Perform routine quality control checks to ensure data integrity.
- Meet daily and weekly productivity goals without sacrificing accuracy.
- Support other teams by providing timely data as needed for reporting or analysis.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and standards when handling data.
