The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and executing daily order processing tasks efficiently and accurately. This role requires proficiency in using computer systems to handle orders and ensure timely fulfillment. The Ecommerce Order Processor plays a crucial role in maintaining smooth operations within the order lifecycle. The candidate must be able to navigate e-commerce platforms, manage order data, and support customer satisfaction by ensuring orders are processed correctly and on schedule.
Responsibilities
- Process incoming orders from the e-commerce platform accurately and promptly.
- Verify order details including quantities, prices, and customer information for completeness and accuracy.
- Update order statuses and coordinate with the warehouse or fulfillment team to ensure timely shipment.
- Address and resolve any discrepancies or issues related to orders promptly to maintain customer satisfaction.
- Maintain organized records of orders and related documentation for auditing and reporting purposes.
- Communicate effectively with other departments to coordinate order processing and resolve operational challenges.
- Assist in updating product information and inventory levels within the order processing system.
- Utilize computer systems to track and monitor order progress and delivery schedules.
- Support the implementation of process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in order handling.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in all order processing activities.
