Description
Ecomskye is looking for a fast, reliable, and creative Video Editor to create engaging TikTok short-form content. This is an office-based role in PECHS Block 2, Tariq Road, Karachi, with flexible shifts of 12 PM–8 PM or 2 PM–10 PM.
Candidates should have 6+ months of video editing experience, good command of CapCut, and strong English reading and writing skills. You’ll edit 30–60 second TikTok videos across different niches using provided content, formats, hooks, and assets while contributing creativity where needed.
The first month will be a paid internship to assess mutual fit, followed by a competitive salary, performance-based bonuses, and opportunities to grow into senior or leadership roles. Working hours and productivity will be tracked through Hubstaff.
Responsibilities
- Edit 25–30 short-form TikTok videos daily, each ranging from 30–60 seconds.
- Use provided content materials, hooks, B-roll, and video formats effectively to create engaging videos.
- Follow established editing formats while adding creative improvements where appropriate.
- Adapt quickly to feedback and make revisions to improve video quality and engagement.
- Collaborate with the team to understand content goals and contribute creative ideas to improve storytelling.
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while consistently meeting daily production targets.
- Use CapCut extensively to create polished and visually engaging short-form videos.
- Maintain punctuality, responsibility, and consistency to meet daily deadlines.
- Use AI tools such as ChatGPT and Claude when needed to improve efficiency and content creation.
- Have strong English reading and writing skills to clearly understand briefs, instructions, and feedback.
- Track working hours and daily tasks through Hubstaff for productivity and accountability.
- Stay updated with TikTok trends and editing techniques to keep content fresh and relevant.
- Bring a creative mindset rather than simply following instructions robotically.
- Complete the initial paid internship period to demonstrate performance and mutual fit.
- Have the ambition to grow into roles such as Senior Editor, Team Lead, or Manager as Ecomskye grows.
