The successful candidate will direct a team of six professionals, applying extensive practical experience and strategic leadership to improve system uptime and reduce downtime. The position requires a minimum of five years of experience in compressor system repair and maintenance and demands a commitment to thorough documentation and adherence to company policies during standard probation periods.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the repair and maintenance team of six personnel, ensuring clear communication, collaboration, and productivity.
- Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance schedules to maximize air compressor performance and minimize equipment failures.
- Oversee comprehensive fault diagnosis and troubleshooting procedures to accurately identify issues and coordinate timely repairs for industrial air compressors, especially Atlas Copco models.
- Plan and conduct regular diagnostic assessments using advanced compressor system diagnostic tools to detect potential problems before they result in system breakdowns.
- Ensure all team members are trained and updated on the latest repair techniques, equipment maintenance procedures, and safety regulations related to industrial air compressors.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance for compliance and continual improvement purposes.
- Evaluate and improve the maintenance workflows, integrating innovative techniques and technologies to enhance operational efficiency and safety.
- Coordinate with suppliers, manufacturers, and external service providers, particularly Atlas Copco, to secure appropriate parts, training, and technical support.
- Monitor departmental budgets and resource allocation to ensure cost-effective operations without compromising service quality.
- Conduct performance reviews for team members, provide constructive feedback, and support professional development plans.
- Implement and enforce quality standards and safety protocols in all maintenance operations to protect personnel and equipment.
- Manage compliance with regulatory requirements, company policies, and training certifications, ensuring all documentation is up to date.
- Assist in recruitment, onboarding, and probation evaluation of new team members to maintain a skilled and motivated workforce.
