Description

Responsibilities
- Manage power generation, transmission, and distribution systems to ensure reliable and efficient electrical supply.
- Design electrical systems and products using computer-aided design software, focusing on high and low voltage equipment.
- Develop and maintain building services, including lighting, heating, ventilation, and lift systems, ensuring optimal performance.
- Conduct feasibility studies and technical assessments for new electrical projects and advancements.
- Create detailed project plans, including models, prototypes, and circuit diagrams for complex electrical equipment.
- Develop and manage budgets, estimates, and timescales for electrical engineering projects.
- Test new and existing installations and systems to verify compliance with safety standards and operational requirements.
- Oversee inspection and maintenance programs to prolong equipment life and uphold safety regulations.
- Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems associated with electrical operations.
- Use electrical testing equipment and diagnostic tools to perform root cause analysis and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Apply electrical safety standards and workplace safety rules, including Lockout/Tagout procedures, to maintain a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to understand project requirements and provide technical support.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to electrical systems and maintenance activities.
- Work in diverse environments, adapting to onsite conditions, including working at heights or handling power generating equipment.
- Support the integration and management of renewable energy sources within electrical infrastructure.
