ELITE JK FOXES ACCOUNTING is seeking a meticulous and proactive Junior Accountant to join our finance team. This position is ideal for candidates with one to two years of experience in accounting and bookkeeping, preferably holding a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration. The Junior Accountant will focus on ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial records, supporting accounts payable and receivable processes, and maintaining comprehensive documentation. The role demands strong attention to detail and proficiency in various accounting software, particularly QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel. This position does not involve managing a team but requires collaborative work with other finance and administrative staff to streamline financial operations. The Junior Accountant plays a critical role in preparing financial statements, managing invoice processing, and verifying financial data to maintain robust electronic filing systems. This role demands excellent data entry skills, accuracy in financial data management, and familiarity with financial reporting practices. Candidates should exhibit strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple accounting functions efficiently. Responsibilities
- Accurately maintain and update financial records including ledgers, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Process and verify invoices and payments ensuring timely and correct entries in accounting software.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
- Perform regular data entry tasks ensuring high levels of accuracy and verification of financial information.
- Utilize Microsoft Excel and accounting software such as QuickBooks or Xero to record and analyze financial data.
- Manage electronic filing systems for all financial documentation ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- Support the reconciliation of bank statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Contribute to the improvement of accounting procedures through effective document management and workflow enhancement.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure accurate and complete financial information for reporting purposes.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of all financial data and reports.
- Assist with accounts receivable management by monitoring outstanding invoices and ensuring timely collections.
- Prepare and verify financial data entry for accuracy to support audit and compliance activities.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, local accounting standards, and related regulatory requirements.
- Support senior accountants and management with other accounting duties as assigned to facilitate smooth financial operations.
