Description
Elivita is seeking a reliable and motivated Rider to join our delivery team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely and safe delivery of packages while maintaining excellent customer service standards. The role requires a valid driving license or learning permit and at least one year of relevant experience. The Rider will skillfully navigate routes, coordinate deliveries, and handle payments efficiently. Safety compliance and vehicle maintenance are integral to this role to guarantee smooth operations and customer satisfaction. As a key part of the delivery process, the Rider collaborates with other team members to coordinate delivery schedules and addresses any challenges that may arise during transportation. The position demands strong communication skills to interact with customers and provide updates on delivery status. Although this role does not involve managing a team, the Rider is expected to take initiative and work independently while upholding the company's standards for quality and safety.
Responsibilities
- Plan and follow efficient routes for timely delivery of packages using navigation and route planning skills.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and traffic laws while operating delivery vehicles.
- Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally and courteously with recipients.
- Handle cash payments and process other payment methods accurately and securely.
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks to ensure delivery vehicles are in safe working condition.
- Coordinate with dispatchers and other team members to optimize delivery schedules and resolve issues.
- Communicate clearly with customers and the management team regarding delivery status and any delays or problems.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, payments, and any incidents encountered during routes.
