Production Manager

Description

Endo Tech Instruments, a well-established manufacturer and exporter of high-quality stainless steel surgical and medical instruments, is looking for a skilled and motivated Production Manager to oversee its manufacturing processes. This role requires in-depth technical knowledge of surgical instrument manufacturing and proven expertise in managing production operations, ensuring that all products meet strict international quality standards. The successful candidate will lead a team of four, driving efficient production workflows while upholding safety and compliance guidelines. The Production Manager will take charge of planning and scheduling production activities, optimizing resource utilization, and monitoring key performance indicators to achieve production targets within budget. The ideal candidate must demonstrate strong leadership qualities and a commitment to continuous improvement initiatives, fostering a culture of operational excellence, teamwork, and accountability across the production floor.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement detailed production plans and schedules to ensure timely completion of manufacturing orders.
• Supervise and manage a team of four production staff, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations to achieve high productivity and employee engagement.
• Apply lean manufacturing principles to streamline processes, reduce waste, and improve overall operational efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with international quality standards in all production activities, conducting regular quality inspections and audits.
• Manage inventory and materials usage to support uninterrupted production while minimizing excess stock and carrying costs.
• Monitor production costs and budgets, identifying areas for cost savings and optimization without compromising quality.
• Track and report production key performance indicators (KPIs), analyzing data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing processes, product quality, and workplace safety.
• Collaborate with cross-functional departments including procurement, engineering, and quality assurance to resolve production issues promptly.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment by enforcing strict adherence to health and safety regulations.
